The JST is a computerized transcript system that produces official transcripts for eligible Soldiers upon request by combining a Soldier's military education and job experience with descriptions and college credit recommendations developed by the American Council on Education (ACE).
Your JST can be requested at https://jst.doded.mil/jst/. If your internet browser generates a warning, please proceed as this is due to the fact it is a government website.
All enlisted, officers and warrant officers, both active and veterans from all Army components, Coast Guard, Marine Corps and Navy. Note that JST receives its data from underlying Army, Coast Guard, Marine Corps and Navy personnel systems.
With our unique translation process, we are able to match your military skills to required knowledge, activities, tools, and technologies that are needed in the civilian workforce and match you to their jobs.
Your JST or VMET should be uploaded on the "My Records" tab on the Candidit homepage.
Sign into milConnect. Choose DoDTAP (eForm and VMET) from the Correspondence/Documentation menu. Select the VMET tab.
Your Verification of Military Experience and Training (VMET) document helps you prepare resumes and job applications quickly when you separate from Service.
All DoD Service members and veterans can request a VMET document in milConnect.
You can request VMET document at any time. However, keep in mind that it is a snapshot of your military experience received up to the date shown in block 5 at the top of the VMET document.
