What is a JST or Joint Services Transcript?

The JST is a computerized transcript system that produces official transcripts for eligible Soldiers upon request by combining a Soldier's military education and job experience with descriptions and college credit recommendations developed by the American Council on Education (ACE).

Where do I FIND my JST?

Your JST can be requested at https://jst.doded.mil/jst/. If your internet browser generates a warning, please proceed as this is due to the fact it is a government website.

Who can get their JST?

All enlisted, officers and warrant officers, both active and veterans from all Army components, Coast Guard, Marine Corps and Navy. Note that JST receives its data from underlying Army, Coast Guard, Marine Corps and Navy personnel systems.

How do I get a copy of my VMET document?

Sign into milConnect. Choose DoDTAP (eForm and VMET) from the Correspondence/Documentation menu. Select the VMET tab.

What is a VMET document?

Your Verification of Military Experience and Training (VMET) document helps you prepare resumes and job applications quickly when you separate from Service.

Who can get a VMET document?

All DoD Service members and veterans can request a VMET document in milConnect.

When can I get a VMET document?

You can request VMET document at any time. However, keep in mind that it is a snapshot of your military experience received up to the date shown in block 5 at the top of the VMET document.
